Pass Functional Skills

We collaborate with Pass Functional Skills to help people earn their functional skills qualifications. You can use this service to prepare for your functional skills exams and receive assistance in booking an Ofqual-regulated exam.

Functional skills qualifications are important for learners who have not obtained a GCSE grade C or level 4, or for international learners who want to access courses or find work in the UK, since they demonstrate competency in Maths and English that course providers and businesses are searching for. Functional skills are the greatest alternative if you haven't achieved a GCSE in Maths or English, obtaining a Level 2 or higher is beneficial because they are a minimum requirement for all higher educational courses.

Functional Skills Level 2 Qualifications

Level 2 qualifications are acknowledged by universities, businesses, and course providers across the country as comparable to a level 4 qualification. Since the pandemic, Ofqual, in partnership with all of the exam boards, has produced online functional skills exams similar in value to the paper exams that were previously offered. You can take your level 2 exam from home using a computer and a webcam, which is quite easy to set up. Links to essential revision material and exam booking pages can be found below.

The level 2 maths and English qualifications that we suggest are always controlled by Ofqual. If you need assistance with your functional skills level 2 exam, Skipton Tutors can give professional tutoring to help you pass on the first try.
