The City and Guilds Functional Skills exam is provided by our partners at MME, and is available to purchase from their website as an option when buying a Functional Skills exam. The City and Guilds Functional Skills exam provided by MME are an alternative to other exams that they provide, with the main difference being that they are monitored and marked by the City and Guilds exam board. This may appeal to you if you specifically need a City and Guilds qualification to get into your chosen University or College, or if you simply wish to have a qualification awarded to you by City and Guilds.

There are over 20 past papers varying in both subject and level, and are all available on the MME website.

The City and Guilds Functional Skills exam is an online exam, meaning that you will need a computer with a working webcam and microphone and a stable internet connection in order to take the exam. It is recomended that you get familiar with how to use your computer as well as your webcam and microphone prior to the exam as to avoid any technical difficulties on the day of your exam. When it is time for you to sit your exam, you will be emailed by a City and Guilds invigilator who will assist you in setting up your exam for the day.
