GCSE Maths Cumulative Frequency Curves AQA, OCR and Edexcel

This week’s topic is cumulative frequency curves, a question type that can often be worth a lot of marks, in the old papers up to 6 marks for plotting cumulative frequency curves and then answering subsequent questions on them.

In the new GCSE Maths 9-1 exams there is still the potential for a cumulative frequency question to appear and be worth a considerable amount of marks. It could appear on any one of the three papers including the non-calculator paper as usually any calculations that need to be done don’t require a calculator.
