New GCSE English Course
In the past we have spoken about how the grading system and exams have changed for GCSE Maths but they have also changed for English literature and Language. Students will now be graded 1-9, with 9 being the grade above the current A*. 2017 will be the first year that the new exams are taken and there is a bit of an unknown as to how difficult it will be to obtain the level 9 but one of the major reasons for the implementation of the new grading system is to differentiate those students at the top end of the marking range.
