Functional Skills Maths Level 2
A GCSE Equivalent Qualification that has been designed to help people who didn’t gain the results for Higher Education is the Functional Skills Maths Level 2. This qualification is also accepted by employers where you require a Grade C/Level 4 in GCSE Maths. If you want to enhance your employability or gain access to further education, then the level 2 qualification will help you.
We work with MME who offer online functional skills exams. The exam is taken in your house via a video link. To be able to sit the exam you need a webcam with your laptop or computer and the day that your exam is on, an Ofqual approved invigilator is the person that will send you the link. Just like most exams, you will take the exam on your computer or laptop. Due to the exam being online, you can sit the exam within 5 working days. The results take on average 2 weeks but can take up to 16 working days and they will be emailed to you. The certificate is sent 3 weeks after you have passed. The amount of revision needed for the exam varies depending on the learner but we suggest around 50-60 hours before your exam. The exam can be taken whenever you want, Saturdays and during the week is when you can take it, and the exam is 2 hours long.
Majority of course providers accept the Functional Skills Level 2 Maths Online Exam since it is a GCSE Equivalent Qualification.
